Powered by the souls of the farmers recently diseased sons Jim and Carl, the Golem exacts it's revenge on the town using the tombstones as feet imprinting Jim and Carl's name in every step.

This is a study that I made into my own thing of some Guild Wars 2 concept art. I absolutely love the visual style in that game. The concept art is pretty intense.
Concept looking at a jacket and Death design for Gram Blank. The jacket has been going through so many different iterations and I think I've finally come to a design I'm happy with. Way too much fun was had doing this.
A fun sketch of a personal character Gram. I don't know why, the rain and water drizzling was giving me such a hard time. Definitely learned a lot on this. I still don't know how successful the splashing on the coat is (pretty overdone) but at least the gist is shown.
I've been learning a lot from Dave Rapoza's livestreams, I like to paint along to them to pick apart his style. Though these are pretty shitty renditions, I feel I've been growing a lot from each one.
You can definitely tell which was the first progressing to the latest.
Sketching the forms directly and literally rubbing the painting into life is such an alien concept to my normal way of drawing but it's such a fun frustrating struggle to build that ability. It's really pointed out my weaknesses and I think Ive been growing the fastest though these types of studies and style.
This was an incredibly fun project. Creating Scary/Cute Teddy Bear designs.
